Default LS430 cargo mat change

The owner's manuals for '02, '03 and '05 LS430s ALL show a cargo net that fastens either to the four D-rings in the trunk floor or to the back two D-rings and to two hooks near the trunk hinges.

The Lexus LS430 cargo nets for sale on dealer websites and ebay show the net fastening at the trunk opening. I like this arrangement better, BUT my '02 LS430 doesn't have the requisite hooks at the top of the trunk opening (the '05 does). Do the new nets come with hooks to replace the "hookless" screws at the top of the trunk opening?

Yes. I added this net on my 03 and the net came with hooks and screws to replace the original ones.

Default cargo net pix

Go to ebay.com and enter "lexus ls430 cargo net" in the search window. There are pictures of the trunk-opening net "in action." It really is useful when you have a jug or two of bleach or vinegar (or bourbon ) that you don't want rolling around in the trunk.

I have one and it is semi-useful. Just don't put too heavy of items in it and also not too big of an item. Keep in mind that once this is in place, it does block somewhat the low opening of the trunk. You have to lift the items over the net so if you often load luggage type items, you may want to unhook first which only takes a couple of seconds.

In my previous '04 LS I had 2 nets in the trunk. One was attached to the floor and there was the other attached to the trunk hinges. In my current '06 I only have one net that is attached to the trunk hinges. I liked having both especially the one for the floor as it kept things from sliding around especially when I had to transport something like a tray of bar-b-que to the in-laws. Lol!
So I was wondering where can I get the one for the floor from? Is this available thru ebay or sewell?
Thanks.

Both are available on eBay > The floor net as well as the envelope type.
