Hey all, as I mentioned in a previous post, I am debating between an RX or GX. Coming from a truck based SUV, I am leaning towards the GX, but am having trouble finding a 2005-2006 within my price range.

I have been doing lots and lots of research on the RX, and have decided that if I am going to purchase an RX, it MUST come with the performance package (love the idea of sequential trans and air suspension). I also must admit the RX is a lot better looking than the GX; albeit a little more feminine.
My only concerns with the RX are that it lacks true off-road performance, and I question it's ability in the snow/slick conditions; would appreciate anyones feedback on RX performance in inclement weather.

That being said, I have only found ONE RX with the performance package in my various searches; it happens to be an '04, black on black with 44k miles on it, CPO for $26k. A great deal IMO, but it's located in Chicago where I'm located in Virginia. Also, I am having trouble justifying the purchase of a 5 year old car. Is it worth it if it's exactly what I want? Were there any significant changes between 04-06 I should be aware of? What would you do in this situation? If I really want a GX, should I wait longer in the hopes of prices dropping, or if I can find an RX that has everything I want should I go through the extensive process of trying to get it? Any help is appreciated, and any suggestions on how to go about acquiring it (will the Lexus dealer in Chicago be willing to ship it to my local Lexus dealership?) is appreciated as well.
