Default Help needed in making my purchase

Hello guys,

I just want some to help me in making my final decision.

I'm thinking to buy RX 330 2004 or 2005 but some of my friend suggested to me the FX 35 infinite. both of these cars are grate but one thing will make me go with the RX 330 is the Off road.

I know that FX 35 bad at off road, but I don't know about the RX 330.

Does anyone have any opinion about RX 330 ability in off road?

thank you

Off road as in mountain off-roading through the woods and rivers? If so, good luck with any of these two. These are snow vehicle SUV, not true off-roading go anywhere SUVs. If you're driving on grassy lawns, and through sandy beaches, then good. Over rocks and through the woods... nahhhhhhh.

As for which to get of the two, RX all the way. The previous FX interior looks like the Governor of NY designed it.

thanks AlexusAnja. yes I did not mean by off road like heavy duty or something really hard to handle. normal off road, camping , beaches and so on. things that normal people do.

Both SUV are not design for off road, the biggest diff is the tires, the FX have high performance tires. Both AWD system are similar, if you switch out the tires on a FX, it will be just as good, or just as bad, as the RX off road.

If you want off-road buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee or a Toyota FJ. The RX will get you through some snow/ice on the roads but you shouldn't buy it expecting to go offroad.

The GX is a much better SUV for off roading.

Is this a joke? The RX is NOT an off road vehicle. The drivetrain has half the oil capacity of any other AWD vehicle on the market. The RX is for suburban folks that want the assurance of all four wheels being available to pull them through a few inches of snow or sand on a beach. The RX drivetrain is better suited for a vehicle that is much lighter.
