I just snipped the proper pin off the relay with needle-nose pliers. High beams still work as they should.

For disabling DRL, I follow the instructions on the forum. As far as wiring the LED strips
I just tap it to a 12V power source that is on when car is running, and off when car is off. No sense
making things too difficult.

Smile do you have any pics of led strips and which wires you tapped into

hey can you send pics of led strips installed and also which wires you tapped into to run them. any help would be appreciated thanks!

I recently changed the front parking lights to LEDs. That was quite easy to do. But the difficult thing was finding LEDs to match the colour of the Xenons.

The RX, at least in Australia, has slightly yellow/blue Xenons. The LEDs I could find were either too blue or too yellow!

Just unscrewed the small bulb holder from the back, after disconnecting the wiring lead. Then replace the bulb with the LED

Doesn't quite operate as a DRL unless you leave the light switch on Parking lights...then you also run the rear parkers too...

Would like to have bright LED strip running as a DRL
