The credit card key info is noted in the Owner's Manual.

The master key CUT from Sewell is 146.00, this does not include programming of the key. Do you think I can find it for cheaper and get it cut for cheaper ok n eBay? Maybe 1010keys if they are still open?

 

I got this on ebay and they even cut the key for you. All you have to do is drop put in your key transmitter into the new key case.

 

I went to my local locksmith, he said he cut make a key for $34.00. He tried to cut it three different times but was not successful!

 

I need a whole new key. I lost mine and now ****ted out of luck. Where on ebay can i get a new ttransponder and key?

 

1010keys is the seller you want to look for in ebay, give the seller your key code, will get 2 keys without the transponder. Then specifically look for the transponder on ebay with the ICC code.
It is a matter of putting the transponder in your keys that you get from 1010keys and have to get the keys in your hand ( However many you have the working keys) and take them to the dealer have them program for you.
Here is what will happen say you have 1 original working key with transponder in it. take the keys and transponders to dealer to program. That is the best route I believe.

 

Just wanted to confirm this is true given my situation:

Valet and Credit Card Key are all I have - Both Master Keys are Lost

Thus, It requires dealership reprogramming of the system "as a whole" as I am purchasing two new masters keys as replacements, given that the Valet key does not allow for the simpler format of coding a new master key.

Thanks, between rereading it earlier and figuring it out myself with the actually keys, I'm all set now.

My credit card key was in fact a Master Key which allowed me to program the new master keys without reseeding the ecu.

 

What is the value of the credit card key? If you lock yourself out your alarm is set. What good is the key and transponder without the alarm remote to disarm? What am I missing?

 

If you use any of your keys to manually unlock at the driver door keyhole, it will disarm the security as well.
