Has any one installed one of these in the RX?

At 70 dollars they are about 1/3 the price of the Vais tech ones.

never heard of it either or seen a discussion on that brand since i've been on the forum. could be your chance to be a pioneer. all the other similar options are $200+. hard to figure.

In most cases I believe you are right. But with Lexus you never know. The same oil change that the local Toyota delaer charges me 68 dollars for. Is 200 at the Lexus Dealer.

Looks pretty lame, appears to either work by having the pick the songs using the ipod itself or you can choose between 5 maximum play lists to play. It also doesn't do text, just displays track and time, so it does look like you get what you pay for as it will work, but doesn't really have much for features compared to a Vaistech or other. The other thing I would be worried about is that whenever apple comes out with a new ipod it works a little different and most of the adapters need a software update, with the Vaistech you can update it yourself or send it in for an update, for this one you might need to buy something else or maybe with all the reduced functionality it is less of an issue.

This looks very, interesting. Owning a 03 RX300 it looks like a good option for the iPod. Reading the install guide for it states that some times you have to cycle the ignition for the radio to see the adapter. I'm just starting to look for ways to hook up the iPod in the RX.
