Question Maintenance Required Light On

Help... I own a 2004 lexus RX330, and my maintenance required light came on and wont go off. I am not due for another oil change for 2,000 miles, and I would really like to shut this stupid light off! I would take it to Lexus but dont want to spend the $ if there is just a code to turn it off. Please help if you know the code!
Thanks!

Michelle

Make sure the odometer is set to total miles not trip. With the key in the off position, push in and hold the odometer reset button (ODO). Turn the key to the on position without starting the car. Continue to hold in the odometer reset button until the maintenance required light goes off (about 20 seconds).

You'd think with all the technology this car has, that the light would reset itself after an oil change. Or that the dealer would do it for you after a service. One of the annoying quirks every car has to have, I guess...
