rx350 how do i know if its 4 wheel drive

rx350 how do i know if its 4 wheel drive
so i got a loaner from a buddy of mine how do i know if the rx350 is 4 wheel drive or not..thanx

most likely its not 4 wheel drive. most of not all loaners are fwd. you can tell by looking under the steering column. if there is a TRAC off button, then its FWD. If theres an empty space with a cover, then its AWD

i dont see a trac off button but i see a AFS button whatever that is..my friend at lexus said it was 4 wheel drive casue he knows i'm taking it up to tahoe

Check the VIN....if it has "GA"....FWD.

lol if there isnt a trac button, then it is infact awd. but...those are really rare as loaners. lol

My 2008 RX 350 has a Traction control and VSC off button and it is an AWD. Maybe it is different because it's the canadian model.

Just look under the rear bumper....
If there's a center differential and two half-shafts going to the wheels, it's AWD. If there aren't, it isn't.

How come 2008 has Trac and VSC in canada? Is that a new feature?
