Default 2008 RX 350 Navigation 7.1 and Lockpick 3 Ultimate

I got my 2008 RX 350 with Navigation 7.1. This one does not have "I Agree" button. Other than that still locks the functionality entering address or phone book. Did anyone tried Navigation 7.1 and Lockpick 3 Ultimate? Does this work or not? I have sent multiple email and called multiple times, no reply or no call back from Coastaltech.

I also have a 2008 RX350 with 6.1. When I was at the dealer last month for the 5000 mile service, I asked for the 7.1. The service guy said they didn't have them yet - not sure how true that was....

My Lexus dealer up here in Alaska is 100000000% top notch. I just explained to the service guy that I just bought my 08 and it had 6.1--and the 08's now have the 7.1 that has the NO I agree to deal with and I would like to have that. He made a call or 2 and Bam he is getting me one--paid for Im just waiting on the phone call as to when it arrives

We only have one L dealer up here and there is only 1-service writer and 1 mechanic, thats it! Im Very good friends with both as i visit to chat whenever Im off work for a hour or so.

On my way to pick up my 7.1 version right now, same as above, called the manager of the dealership and asked why my car (only 3 weeks old) came with 6.1 when 7.1 was available. He hemmed and hawed and said he'd see what he could do, got a call an hour ago that he has a 7.1 version for me.

I stopped by the dealer today and we proceeded to install it--took all of 10 minutes to do. Pop the old DVD out insert new one and it loaded itself! Done deal....

Yep, very quick install. I like that the I Agree button is gone! Definitely interested in the LockPick as well.

Does the upgrade to 7.1 have anything to do with overriding the GPS dysfunction or is it just about the "I Agree" button? Since, I don't get that button, can I assume that I have 7.1? If not, how do I check?

2 ways. you can start with the hard menu (i think) button then follow some touch screen options and eventually you will get to a display of the version. i don't know the exact sequence for your car but there aren't that many different paths to take.

or just eject the dvd and look at it. the dvd will have a large letter/number designation in the upper right which is helpful to someone that knows the codes. U20, W31 etc. Mine has U22 which is v 7.1 for Generation 4hardware. Version 5.1 was marked U20.

The most direct/foolproof way is to look for the data version at the bottom of the dvd. It will be mixed in with some small letters/numbers at the bottom take a look. should be pretty easy to spot since you know what you are looking for (6.1, 7.1 etc).
