Default Alternative to Lockpick 3?

Just wondering if any members are aware of an alternative to Coasteletech's Ultimate Lockpick 3? I live in the Land Downunder and I am looking to unlock my Nav and Bluetooth etc on my RX350 however Coastaletech won't ship to Australia.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

You don't need a LP3 to unlock the BT phone, just disconnect the speed sense wire behind the radio.
You can also do this by creating a 'hybrid' dvd and using a 5.1 file on your 6.1 nav disk - some keypresses on the nav screen will unlock everything - you just have to do this everytime you want BT or nav override.

With either of those 2 solutions you still will need to press the 'I Agree' screen though - BUT, I hear this is eliminated in the 7.1 nav dvd. I don't know what will happen when the LP3 tries to press the 'I Agree' button with a 7.1 dvd which doesn't need the keypress. So, if you have or are planning to get the 7.1 dvd, I would wait until the LP3 has been tested with it.

You can also have someone in the US mail you a LP3, but again, I'd wait for compatibility testing with the new 7.1 dvd.

I bought the lock pick 3, it should arrive in a few more days but Lexus has succeded in two things. #1 They lost money on the sale ofan update DVD because I am afraid to buy one when it becomes available due to fear that it will disable my lock pick

#2 the lost the sale of another Lexus, My lease expires in 2 more years and although I really love the RX400H I won't buy or lease a car that has a nav system that only works part time.

Lexus can you hear me? If you monitor this site I hope you are aware of all the people that will think twice before they buy another Lexus.

they dont care. if they did care they would fix all the problems the RX and oither models have. Also, as long as people keep blindly buying lexus' they will continue to do whatever they feel like

Thanks everyone. I'm going to speak with my Lexus Dealer to see when the next Aussie Nav update comes out.

On a side note, has any Non-US Rx Owner ever tried making a hybrid Nav DVD?

Hi from NZ. I'm taking delivery of my 400h in a couple of weeks. I have the Aussie 5.1 loading.kwi file and I will try making a disk. Aus and NZ use 'whereis' mapping so I'm hoping it will work.

Sorry they don't ship to Aussie...just installed the LP3 within 5 mins. Works like a charm. Only complaint would be that when you roll to a stop and then start again, the navi greys out for a second, then the LP3 kicks back in, so it is constantly battling the car. No big deal - as it does what it was designed to do. No more pushing the I Agree and the wife can finally start inputting addys. Great product!
