First you need to find out what version of the DVD you have. Judging by the year of your RX, you probably have the GEN3 Nav. system with version 3.1. Push the menu button, then the DVD button in the upper right of your screen. It will probably show version 3.1 or 4.1. The latest available version is 6.1 but the 7.1 version should be available in October. I would wait until then so you have the latest updates. The DVD and Nav system is made by DENSO but you will need to buy it from a Lexus dealer. The Lexus DVD is not the same as Toyota.
