RX350 rear door close button
I was taking some stuff out of the back of my RX350. And noticed a small black plastic cover on the tail gate. Never noticed it before. When I touched it. The rear door started closing. Never knew the switch was there. I always walked away from my car and used the key to close the hatch.
Was wondering if there was anything else that was new. That was not on my RX300?

Shame on him or her!
Isn't that plastic button rubber? And if you look on it closely wasn't there a picture of an open hatch or something? I forget exactly the picture that was on my RX330. Did you find the storage bins under the rear hatch floor
yeah also if you hold the buttom that unlock for 5 sec all the window will go down including the sunroof and them to close all the window just insert the key in the driver side handel and turn it to the right they will close, good luck and there more trick.

When I picked up the car. I had the mechanic show me how to get the spare tire down. And the bins are where I store the wirelsss headphones. I just never noticed the switch. It looks like a cover to gain access. If you had to do some work inside the door. You would pop it off.
I'm surprised the dealer never showed you how to open and close the trunk by touching those pads...where exactly did you buy your RX? If its close to me I can go make fun of them for assuming things (much like how one assumed my dad knew how to use a starter button with crappy pictures on the key)

Here at my dealership, after I filled out all the paperwork, they spent almost an hour explaining everything from using the dvd player to opening the rear door to using bluetooth. I nodded off a few times because he would talk too much and too long... but I agree, they should have explained to you some of these stuff even though you can read it in the manual later... you spent a lot of money on a expensive car, the least they could do is spend a little of their time for you...
ps: when he finished explaining to me, he saw that one of the back door window was foggy on the inside, he called one of the technician to come clean it right away... that's what you call excellent service!

When I picked up the car. We spent most of the time working the Nav system. Then a few days later I went back to get the bluetooth to connect. The problem was I wasnt assigning a name to the phone. All I need to do now is work on the voice system.
I did have one question. You start up the car. And the bluetooth auto connects. But you dont want to use the car. Just use the phone. Is there anyway to disconnect the phone from the Nav screen? Without turning off the car? Or do you have to disconnect from the phone?
