I'm 5'4" and I think the RX seats are typical Lexus SUV seats. Meaning they are nice and soft, but offer nothing else. No thigh support, no lat support. It could be because our other car is a BMW with sports seats, my daily driver for 3+ years used to be a NSX with great sports seats. If you push the RX330 around corners hard (You really shouldn't though as it is an SUV) you really find yourself sliding around the seats. I just think they are the typical seats you'd find in an entry level luxury SUV. Can't really expect Porsche Cayanne seats or BMW X5 sports seats in a Lexus now can we?

Im 6'1 so i really notice these shortcomings. the seats in the upcoming IS-F are superb and should be the seats in all lexus models. i guess you are right too much time driving euorpean cars and you get used to more supportive seats.

Just a little south of 70
I've modified almost everything I've owned.

At 6'2", I don't care for the seats either. All it needs is a movable bolster for better thigh support.

in my book, throwing 3 grand on 20"s or 2 grand on a bodykit just to "feel different" does not do justice- I usually have a good memory for remembering where I last parked and recognizing my own vehicle.

To be different, in my book, is to own Enzo or Murcielago, not a souped up Toyota lol. Therefore, my wife and I wll be just like everyone else and drive a stock RX, that is, until we become filthy rich, and can afford to be really different.

LOL

Those rims would look beautiful on the RX!

Im still modding my 97 sebring convertible, so once that is done, will probably just get some rims... to me that should make it stand out enough. I havent had any problems with the seat, they feel comfortable enough for me... but then I have a Suzuki SV1000 and a Sebring to compare it to.

I did the same lip kit on my '04 330 almost with in 6 months of buying it, and I am probably one of very few if any in Southern California that have that Kit and every time I take to any dealer I get questions and compliments on the lip kit. I definitely notice the difference including the fact that I changed the badges in the back as a subtle mod too. Many people ask I just say, oh it is the Japanese Model. ( for a hint of exclusivity).

Lightbulb Adding a few things....

I like my RX350 just fine. However, running boards and WeatherTech side window deflectors were added to make it more user friendly.

Some running boards help prevent door dings from inconsiderate people in low cars. Especially the one's that put their door against your car for balance as the get out of theirs. I park way out in the open lot and still come back to find someone parked next to me with a half dozen empty spaces around.

The day I got mine, I immediately scheduled it to have the front windows tinted to match the back. I'm well on my way.

Just got my wife an 08 and the only mod I plan on doing is adding the wide arm rest. She's fine with the standard one, but when I drive, its too small for me. Should be getting it delivered tomorrow and I'll put in in on Sat.

I didn't vote because the categories didn't quite cover my reason for modifying the RX330.
I am 47, male and not really looking to make the RX330 different, just want to upgrade the headlights from the stock halogens to Xenon HID's so I can throw more light in front of my wife at night.
It's her car and she can use all the help I can give for her night vision.
Not interested in the steering/turning HID's, just a direct plug and play conversion.
Has anyone done this conversion on a 2004 RX330 or similar?
