Tire pressure light / flats
Just bought an 07 RX350 last month. Yesterday, tire pressure warning light came on, filled tire with air, light came off.
Then light came back on, later realized I had a flat (only 1200 miles), tire replaced with spare.
I did NOT get a new tire, was told tire had a nail, and they apparently just left it in the same place as the original spare (basically they switched the spare with the bad tire).
Later the light comes back on. Why? I was told that since I did not get a new tire, the old tire, although NOT on the car (in the spare-holder under the back) is causing the light to come back on b/c of the sensor. Either that or I have another flat in less than 24 hrs.
What do you think is going on?
