Air suspension problem

I tried searching but could not find anything similar to what I am experiencing. I have a 04 RX330 with the performance package. The car has about 34k miles.

I normally set my RX to the 'Lo' Low position when driving. When I come to a stop (usually medium/hard) the air suspension 'OFF' light turns on and then the vehicle goes to the 'N' Normal position. It seems as if the system is reseting itself everytime I come to a medium/hard stop.

There are no Malfunction Indicator Lamps (MILs) on at all and the ride height appears to be equal and operational. It just returns to the 'N' position after coming to a medium/hard stop.

Thoughts?

I keep mine in "L" setting occassionally, but have never had a problem with it so far. I suggest you check with the dealer, I'm sure It's covered under warranty. There's only a handful of people here with "air suspension" so you may not get as many response. Good Luck.

Here is a video I took of the problem. It is during decceleration (as you can see on the speedometer). Sorry about the music.

btw, I made an appointment to get it looked at. We don't have many of these packages here in HI so I am not sure if they will be able to figure it out quickly. They will probably say that they cannot duplicate the problem.

Yeah, let us know! I have not had any issue on my air suspension. Do you notice the car go up/down? I was thinking the pump may have quit on you. Good Luck!!

I haven't taken the car in yet because my appt is for next month. But I did notice that the same phenomenom occurs even when I am in 'N'. You can hear the relays clicking but I don't notice any change in ride height. It almost always occurs during a medium-hard stop coming to a complete stop.

I just wanted to follow up on this:

The dealership fixed the problem. I don't know the specifics but there was a bad connection in the air suspension system. I think it had to do with the height sensors since the car would return to 'N' when the car would dive during braking.

I think im having the same problem. I have an appointment next tuesday. The off light is blinking and none of the height controls are working, not even the easy access lowering. Its stuck on high mode right now even though it says its on N
