Send pics so we can decide if the wheels really beg to be stolen.......

by "cars" i think they mean "sedans". in general i think horizontal slats are more sporty, sedan or SUV...

LOL - yeah it really depends on the wheels and what area you work. i have chrome OEM 18's and the TC grille and i think it makes the RX more sporty and elegant, although i don't work/live/drive anywhere where 18's in chrome would attract any sort of attention (maybe 20s-22s, but not 18's).

i don't like unwanted attention either, both from a personal standpoint and a woman's safety standpoint. but tasteful things usually add to the look rather than "ghetto-size" it

for me, adding chrome wheels and the TC grille are just things to make the the RX stand out and not look so "pedestrian". you see so many of them out there that it's nice to have mine just a tiny bit diff. even if no one else notices or cares, i do, and in the end that's what makes the $$ worth it!! i just spent like $150 on black pearl emblems and i haven't put them on yet but sometimes i wonder, what was i thinking buying black shiny plastic letters for $150!?!?

here's my little road warrior w/ chrome factory wheels:

The chrome just looks perfect against millennium silver. Unfortunately in my neck of the woods even the chrome wheels are a common sight. I'm still trying to figure out why my 18's are called "graphite" when they're hyper-silver, but I like 'em just because they're a little different. That's not to suggest I won't eventually end up with an aftermarket set (I'm like Chris Rock...I'd put rims on my toaster if I could) but for now they're just fine.

Anyway - the wheels...and the grille...look outstanding on your RX.

Well in Kansas City, there's tasteful, and there's not. There's a little bit of everything around here. But as far as these cars go, I really haven't seen any 330's or 350's with any wheels other than stock. I saw one with chrome 18's, and I dunno if they were aftermarket. I have seen a handful of chrome stockers, but that's still very rare.

So to be totally different and flip the script on these, I think she's the first RX350 on 20's in the whole city. Maybe the first in this body style. We were going for luxurious, and different than the norm... and I THOUGHT stand out a little but from yer everyday RX330/350. But if she had her choice, she'd probably just get rid of them now. I'll post a link.

Cheapest now is $318 delivered. Still steep for a mod like this.

Yeah, that grill does transform the car quite a bit.

Tim ...

I think that phrase was a little confusing because commas were omitted. This should make it clearer, "... they are, like, for cars."
