so, vroomvroom, are you willing to sell your old grill and if so, how much. I did not realize that the RX330 had mor than two grills - the one I have for 2004 and the recent hybrid. Yours looks different from mine. Is that a 2006? How many grills are there?

I'm more than willing to sell it. As I understand it there are three grilles - standard 330/350, Thundercloud, and 400h. The 'L' on the 400h grille is larger than on the other two...something to keep in mind if, like me, you considered going that route as well.

I'd planned to list the stock grille in the classifieds this week after researching a fair asking price. However, if you have a number in mind feel free to PM me. It's packaged up and is ready to ship.

That's a thought.

I have my original grill that I took off when I added my TC version (see photo on page 1), and I could be convinced to part with it, provided the owner assures me it will find a good home. If anyone wants to make me an offer, do so by PM.

I'll hang up now and listen for your response.

This is interesting because I have an RX330 '04 and I could swear that mine looks different from the one you removed from yours. I'll research more and pm you if I'm still interested. I wouldn't want to by something that I already have. Thanks for your reply vroom.

That's the same stock grill we have on the '07 RX350. If someone wants it as well, let me know. Car doesn't have 3000 miles on it, so it's still brand new. If ya want pics, PM me.

Now about this TC group buy........

eh0013, you could be right. My impression mostly comes from the l-tuned website, which shows the TC grille fitting '04+ models.

If it's a question about the RX330 and RX350 interchangeable, I called L-tuned before, and they said all body mods are usable b/w the 2 vehicles.

I too like the Thundercloud grille better than the vertical, but we have a Thundercloud so I guess I'm biased

eh, you are right - there are diff grilles between the first 330 and the new 350. i think it came out w/ the most recent 350s as they tried to incorporate the edgier L-finesse grille design on the current body.

here are the differences --

Number of slats - the original grille had 17 slats which have a sort of pronged wishbone look. the newer grille has 15 fatter slats with smaller slats in between.

Corners - the newer grille also sharpened the 4 corners to match the GS/ES/LS/IS L-finesse grille design. the older grille has rounded corners. the TC grille shape is rounded as well.

here is the old vs new:

i put the TC grille on mine as well and think it's worth every penny. that was my first mod on the RX and i still love it.

Lexuslover, question for you....the rubber seal that goes underneath the grille, it looks like they are different between the 330 and 350. was the rubber supplied with the TC Grille?
