Looks like the 330 versus the 350 will require that you replace the rubber seal that goes underneath the grille. They are different shapes. The TC matches with the 350...I suppose. Are the TC grilles supplied with the rubber seal? I would guess so.

But I have heard it was a breeze to modify, take off and put on o the 330's...confusing....

i think the pictures make it hard to tell, but i believe all the grilles come with a rubber seal around the edge to prevent water and debris from slipping underneath. the TC grille comes shipped with the seal already adhered.

the only trick is the first time i tightened the new grille i think i did a few notches too tight and the rubber seal actually started to flatten out and get away from the grille, so i need to open it up again and readjust it. i don't know why i did it so tight! it's not like anyone can steal it without opening the hood

i am pretty sure the rubber seal is supplied on all grilles, so you don't have to physically remove the seal and move it over to a new one. that's how it worked on the TC.

about the 330 vs. 350. i am also pretty sure they are interchangeable. there is no question that the bodies are the same, the only doubt is whether the hole or screws on the hood changed from 330 to 350. however, given that both 330 owners and 350 owners have put the TC grilles on successfully, they appear to be interchangeable.

Thanks for the info, I wanted to make sure that the rubber was part of/include on the TC grille.

Very nice, I like that color combination.

Although we don't have Lexus here, I have seen a new Camry with that color configuration and wondered what an RX300 would have looked like. Probably as close as I can get.

LOL. i'm a woman and i am not really into mods but the TC grille was the first thing i did to my RX. granted it's not my daily driver anymore, but i still love seeing the grille. i would say if you are still trying to convince her, tell her that it will make it a little different than the other 1000s of RX's out there you see each and every day. at least that's what makes me happy

at first i wasn't too keen on spending $300 on a piece of chrome plastic, but 8 wks later when i installed it, i was so happy i did. Good luck!

Lexuslover, you are a wise woman. That was the exact speech I gave my wife...something to make this thing a little unique compared to the 712,414 I see on the road every day.

I'm confused.

The statement that they "are like for cars" is the statement that makes no sense.

She said that horizontal slats are common in cars..hence she is happy with the vertical ones for the RX.....I can dig it. It's her car. But I still wnat the TC grille....looks like I will have to spring for the $$.

That's what I told Lori when we got the wheels and tint. Now she's hating the attention she's getting from the "ghetto folk" and makes her paranoid. Though, when you work in the not-so-best part of town, a Lexus of any kind gets attention, lol. Now she's thinking about selling the wheels, and they're not even 2 weeks old! So you all may be seeing for sale pics of the wheels soon....
