Default Fixed Display of Climate Settings

I like to keep the map screen on while driving, but I would really like to be able to glance across and see inside/outside temp/fan speed/mode settings.

If you use the temp controls while in the map screen, a blue bar comes on at the top with left/right temp. settings, and I wish that could be left on permanently, plus with some added climate info.

Does anyone else find it annoying that there is no fixed display of the climate control settings, or is this something that has been fixed on the 350?

I agree with you wholeheartedly that this is one of the annoying quirks about the RX ~ that you're not able to see at least the outside temperature while the map is showing. I know the LS has that feature. For years I've been hoping that Lexus would add that to the RX and I've even written to them about it but to no avail!

It'd be great if someone had a fix to that!

No thanks. I have the most optimal, accurate, up-to-date temperature gauge every time I go in the RX or any other car. It tells me without fail whether it's too hot or too cold and never needs to be replaced. It's called my body

I thought maybe you were driving around with my wife, the ice princess. No matter what the temp, she's too hot. Nanook of the North finally discovered the seat heaters last winter and now she wants to cool the cabin even further so she can warm her backside.

Lexus needs a new setting on the thermostats - down below "65" there is "COLD" . . . way below that there needs to be "MENOPAUSAL".
