Situation:

When I would be going somewhere and I put the destination into my NAV. While I am driving on the highway the NAV stops updating the information for the distance to the next turn (top right in green beveled square) and also the total time and mileage left to drive (bottom left). But the map itself continues to update.

Like when my NAV "freezes" like that lets say it says 20 miles to the next turn on the top right. It would stay there until i get about 0.5 miles from the turn and then screen changes to the half mode displaying map on the left and the turn on the right. But if i want to get the updated miles to the turn and the total miles left in the drive I would press Dest and then back to the map. and then it would keep on updated. This is very weird I say...

Does this happen to anyone else???

I have talked to my Lexus dealer and he said that he would have to replicate it. But of course when you got there to show the problem it is not replicable.

I have a 2004 RX330. Generation 3 NAV.

i don't quite understand the problem of "freezing", but i always have my navigation in "turn list" mode, which does a split screen of map on left and turn list on right. when you get closer to exits the turn list becomes a visual of the exit, i think about 2.0 miles away it does that. i know what you mean about the green arrow on the upper right, i don't know if it's supposed to stay there the whole time or not, but i would suggest using the turn list view if you like to know distances to the next turn (very helpful IMO).

The green arrow on the top right updates as you get closer to the turn but sometimes it does not update. And the same goes for the bottom left where it tells you the total miles to go.

I am trying to figure out if this happens to anyone else ? And if it did how did they resolve it?
