Cause I like my Real lights on all the time--Plus just running DLR's your rear lights are not on--I just like to be seen by others out there, lord knows most idiots out on the road these days cant see in front of them. My HIDS are much brighter than the DLRS

Look at his address.

He always needs his lights on because he lives in Alaska.

In Alaska, it's dark all the time -- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for about 50 weeks a year. I looked it up.

LOL.....yep you are right in the winter time but we do have daylight for 4-5 hours or so during Dec-Feb time frame. it comes and goes quick for sure.

Now Summer time which is now the sun never sits--daylight almost 24 hours a day--well it gets a little dusk about midnight till 3-4. All this daytime is very nice to get stuff done but before you know it, its 10-1100 at night and well its bed time cause 0500 comes early

Quote: I left my 2004 RX330 in my garage for just short of 3 weeks in May when I went on a cruise. When I came back and tried to start the car it was as dead as a doornail. Not even the instruments would light up. I did have the car lights set for auto. Triple A came and jump started it and it was fine. Was able to drive to the dealer to pick up the 400h I ordered just before I left.
There is a "small" quirk when you have your HL on auto: They will stay on as long as any door in the car is open (or not properly closed). I asked my dealer if this feature can be turned off and got a negative reply. This might explain your dead battery.
