Plug a Parrot DriveBlue into the power outlet under the radio.

http://www.coastaletech.com/nav_kit.htm offers navigation by-pass and optional cable to add on Bluetooth Phone functionality for Toyota Prius which might also works on RX.

The factory bluetooth connection available for the 2005 is not available for retrofit for the 2004? Thanks for the replies!

Parrot makes more advanced models too. Ones that you can hardwire and actually trigger the mute switch of the radio.

The Bluetooth phone requires GEN4 of the Nav System. If the 04 does not have the BT, it must also have the GEN3 Nav System.
