I have 29000 miles on my 330 AWD w/18'' Michelin's OEM. They still look fair. Is this good? Does anyone have more than 29K. If so how many. Thanks for the feedback.
Best Regards..........Bob

I just turned 15,000 miles on my Goodyears and they are measuring 7/32 remaining. I expect to get around 30,000-45,000 miles before replacement is required but I'll be trading the 330 in before that happens.
I have the Michelin's on the stock 17" rims and they have about 30-35% left. I have about 39K miles so far. I'm sure it will last past 50K miles. I believe it has a DOT tread rating of 500. For me this is a long lasting tire since I'm used to runing 200-280 tread wear high performance tires that last 10-20K miles max.

That sounds good. You can measure the tread depth to give you an idea how much life is left in your tires. Most tires come with 10/32" deep tread. The legal minimum is 2/32" remaining, but you should replace them at 4/32" for safe wet & winter preformance.
FWIW, the Goodyear Integrity on my RX300 has 6/32" with 42K miles on them. The Michelin X-One tires on my old car have an amazing 90K miles, yet the tread is still deep enough according to my cousin whom I gave the car.

Measuring thread depth is a great way to determine how long your tires will last but be aware that the first couple of 32nds wlll wear away faster than the last couple. The deeper the thread the more squirm and resulting wear. Be sure to measure the depth at the center and edges to get an accurate average.
I'm at 15k. My tires are about halfway done. The wear is even. I'll probably make it to 30. I think tires go faster in Florida or maybe I just have a heavy foot.
What car's you guys have and how do you drive? Had 50+k when I traded a '99 and would have easily gotten 10-20k more, not near the wear indicators, about same so far on the '03.
you must drive very fast or hard. i have 37500mi on my AWD 330 18" oem michelins, and they look great. i probably won't get new ones for another 15000-20000 miles.
well.... I admit that I drive hard.... but I hardly drive the RX, and my wife doesn't drive agressive at all..... I can't figure out why we're getting such poor wear..... I thought it might be normal due to the AWD, but after seeing what some others are getting, I have no idea..... we have goodyears on, not michelin....

You may want to ask Lexus to check the alignment specs.
I'll ask.... but I've never seen such even tire wear on ANY car I've owned..... has anyone needed to rotate their tires on an AWD 330?
They rotated mine at 15,000 miles. The wear was very even on all 4. Like I posted, after 15,000 miles I had only used a couple 32nds of tire. I should get 35-45k out of them. Most of the miles were highway so far.
The Goodyears that come on the 330's (Eagle RS-A) need to be rotated regularly (7,500 miles, with the oil) in order to wear evenly and therefore last longer. They're fairly soft tires... dry traction has been improved at the expense of mileage.
