Default RX400H Cargo Space

I posted this here (instead of inside the 400 thread) because the name of this forum has been changed to include 400H now. :-)

Does anyone know (for sure) if the cargo space in the 400H will be significantly decreased due to batteries?

Thank you,

Thank you,
I say it will be barely decreased - you can see it in Prius - batteries are a lot more compact now so in bigger car such as RX, lost of space would be even less significant... So, in that sense, expect nothing but good things...

This is what New car test drive said about the cargo spance"

"Folding the rear seats down reveals 83.9 cubic feet of cargo space, more than a BMW X5, Mercedes ML350, or Infiniti FX, and just slightly less than an RX 330. The rear seats don't fold perfectly flat, however. The battery packs are housed under the rear seats".

They don't fold down flat in the 330 anyway. Or are they saying this is worse?
