I'm GS owner thinking about looking at the RX model. Quick question, does the 2012 RX rear seat fold down for additional storage? and if so could an adult snowboard (~60 inches) fit in the trunk with the rear seat down? Thanks again

Moved. Yes, the rear seats fold down. There is now a release in the cargo area to make putting them down easier. I don't have the exact measurements but s snowboard should fit.

 

To add to the above, the rear seat is 40-20-40 split on the RX. The nice thing with this configuration, unlike most rear seats, is you can fold the middle section ("20") for thinner longer items like skis and snowboards while still seating two passengers in the rear on the outer sides.
