Default Finally bought one........

I bit the bullet and bought a 2005 RX 330 yesterday. It is Flint Mica with what in Canada is called the Ultra Premium Package. This has all options ie DVD, Nav, HID's, Adaptive Headlights, Mark Levinson, etc... Interior colour is Black with the dark wood dash and steering wheel accents. I also went ahead and purchased some aftermarket wheels (18 inchers). It will probably be arriving near the end of December. Looking forward to it.

Congratulations. I hope you like yours as much as I like mine. Mine is a year old last month and I have very few complaints. I just drove it down to Florida from Wisconsin and averaged 26-27 MPG at a constant 70-75 MPH. Great touring car. Mine is the Savannah Metallic.

The wheels I bought are 18's and made by Enkei ( I believe the web site is www.enkei.com ). They are called RS7 and are Anthracite in colour. I saw this exact combo a couple of weeks ago and was really impressed. The anthracite (or gun metal) matches very well with the Flint Mica.

If I had the cash now, I'd buy these shiny puppies:

Those would look great in Hawaii but here in the winter wonderland of Canada, they would get beat up awfully quick.

I also ordered a Neptune Blue Mica but Flint Mica has always been my favorite but that color is everywhere. I recently went on a trip and we counted 14 Flint Micas on the road. But I am still torn between getting the color I've really wanted or the Blue which is also a great color. Any suggestions?

Get the color you want. Who cares what other people have. You're spending all this money, you need to make you happy!

I agree, I got the Flint Mica,it's the best color. Around here the RXs all seem to be silver or white?

If you don't mind my asking, what type of deal did you get on your new RX? I am looking to upgrade my wife's RX300 to a new RX330 and was wondering what a great out-the-door cost would be.

I'm leasing for 439 plus tax for 48 months with 12k miles with no down with a drive the off of around 730... It's the best deal. In September I was looking at an 04 for 499 plus tax with about 1200 down with the same lease type. December is the best time. Lexus money factors are .155 instead of the .18 or .2 that other dealers have.

I purchased my 05 330 for 67,200.00 . Keep in mind that this is in Canadian funds and includes all applicable taxes. Currently 1 dollar Canadian = 84 cents U. S. The price of the vehicle is fully loaded with Ultra Premium package, rubber all-weather mats, and 3M taping on the front end, wheel arches, lights, door edges etc. Oh ya, since this is Canada, the price also includes block heater and mud flaps all around. The price they were asking would have been around 71000.00 so I managed to get some off that price.

For those that don't want to do the conversion. The price in US would be about 56,470.00
