Engine noise

Just purchased my RX330 less than two months ago - same noise as mentioned. dealer states a fix is in the works?

I am interested to know what sort of noise u r referring to. Does it sound like 'bearing' sqeeking from the timing belt compartment?

Engine noise

Seravios,

The noise I heard is inside the cabin and sounds like mild tapping/pinging. Step outside and no noise. Engine sound is smooth and quiet. Service rep at dealer stated others have voiced the same complaint. My previous Lexus 2000 ES 300 was very quiet in the cabin. I expected the same or better in my 2004 RX 330.
