Default Weird problem

OK, does anyone know what this could be? My RX300 is terrific, but every now and then strange things happen with the electrical system. For example, started the car and found the "Outside Temp" reading was in Celcius instead of Fahrenheit! Restarted the car and now the reading is back in Fahrenheit again. Another thing -- some of the radio presets occasionally disappear. Any suggestions?

loose battery cable, or a loose supply connection at the main fuse panel.

ya sounds like a lose connection to the battery. But if it persists take it to the dealer.

Yup, known probblem...

Let's see, a RX300, 2002 so the battery is now 2+ years old, starting the car in cold old NY during the winter....

Have the battery tested and see if it is still capable of full output cold cranking amps (CCA). The circuits in the 300 are very sensitive to low voltage on cranking and then reset if the voltage is too low even for an instant. The clock is the big offender here.

Let us know what you find...
