Default RX 330 Towing

This may have been discussed before, but I am interested in knowing about anyone's experience in towing with a RX 330. What kind of trailer do you tow and what is the weight of the trailer.

Default Towed a few times on my RX300

I towed a utililty trailer, auto 2-wheel tow dolly, and a full auto trailer.
The latter two had my 2000 lb car on it.

When towing a car, the RX300 rear end sags a lot! Braking performance
is hurt. And it could sway with serious wind -- nothing dangerous.
Just noticeable. It does become dangerous when there are strong winds.
Also, when climbing hills momentum is key. There is no way
I would drive up a serious mountain/hill climb on it while flat-towing a car.

Things I did to improve towing: buy a weight distribution hitch system,
get anti sway add-ons. Use a trailer w/ trailer brakes. Still the rear
end sags, but not as badly. See pic.

I've decided to move on and buy a dedicated truck, my tranny shop friend
says FWD trannies lifespan cannot tolerate towing as well as RWD
trannies.

The RX330 equipped with the Performance Pkg/Air Suspension and its leveling capability will prevent sagging at the rear when towing. But then again any kind of load which causes the rear suspension to sag too much, unless it's a balancing problem (rule of thumb: 10% of the weight on the tongue), is probably too much weight to tow safely anyway.
