Is there any way to have he RSES automatically display the DVD video source when starting up the car and dropping down the screen? right now when the screen is dropped down, you have to manually select the source.... not easy to do from the front seat when you want to play it for the small kids....

OR, is there any way to select the DVD source on the rear screen from the front of the car....

 

I use the remote control. Hit the "DVD" button for source which turns on the screen, then hit the "Cursor" button twice to clear the "Hints..." msg and the follow on menu buttons screen. There may be an easier way but the three button pushes works for me. Hope this helps!

We should let Lexus know about this setup problem... we have the exact same issue with the RSES and little kids... and getting the remote to work from the front seat to hit the IR receiver on the FRONT of the RSES is a trick while belted and ready to roll..
