Replacing rear struts, should I replace sway bar links?
Hello fellas,
My partner and I just recently purchased a 07’ RX 350 with 135k miles. We replaced all front suspension and we are going to replace rear struts, should we replace rear sway bar links as well? I don’t know if they are OEM or had been replaced before.
Any insight on how to know if they are OEM or if they are needed to be replaced?
You should do an inspection first, see if the lrubber is hard and cracked? Or still soft? They aren’t expensive or difficult to replace, so if they look old or they rattle when shack the roll bar, then go ahead and replace em

No question yes you definitely should... they are under $20 and very quick/easy to install, see Matt's thread on this. Also check your sway bar bushings (also very cheap and easy to replace they are wear items that decay over time).
Not sure how to tell if they are OEM or even original but if you can twist them by grabbing them they need replacing. Matt pointed me towards aftermarket Ford replacement links that work perfectly, cost MUCH less, and are more beefy they were <$20 from Amazon
