Default 2007 RX400h Maintenance Schedule

All,

I have a 2007 RX 400h with 155k on it. I have some maintenance queued up:
1) new timing belt/water pump/plugs (160k standard)
2) wheel bearig (one is making noise)
3) Front passenger axle has been weeping for a long time, and I will replace when do the bearing.

I drive far from home regularly and would like to get out in front of any "known" issues. Anyone know what I should be looking for as far as known issues around this mileage? I would appreciate any lived advice from this community.

Thank you

#1 major failure point on these cars is the radiator have a close look at it if you see any pink crusty build up the rad is done. Have the spark plugs ever been changed? Clean out the hybrid battery fans/filter once in a while.

Don't toss the axle if it's original replace only the boots.

What he said above plus every fluid (diff, transfer case, trans, brake fluid), regrease brake pins/check brake padsand rotors, EGR valve, drive belts, recommend changing your vent lines they are very cheap, clean throttle body, take a good look at all suspension parts front and back the rubber has likely broken down to to both mileage and time. Spray clean the engine very well so you can tell if it is leaking anywhere plus it makes working on the engine much more enjoyable.

Thank you, I will inspect the rad. i plan to do the plugs with the timing belt & water pump. last time i looked ath the hybrid battery vents (I don't have fans 2007) they were clean! Is it worth replacing the boots on the axles? Rockauto has premium replacements for under $100.

I have FWD so just the trans and brake fluid.
EGR valve, drive belts... check
Vent lines? You mean, evap vent lines?
Throttle body? how is that a fuel additive?
Suspension parts: I did all engine mounts with OEM Lexus. I replaced all struts too (I used Monroe from Rockauto and am very pleased). I will inspect other components.

What about the drive motor inverter cooler water pump?

Your RX is AWD there is an electric motor at the back. There is no EGR valve. If you plan on keeping the car indefinitely then do a drain/fill of the transmission and rear E-axle it's extremely easy. I used Toyota fluid didn't want to experiment with other brands.

My inverter coolant pump is original I'll replace it if/when it dies.
