Window Reset Issue
Since I had misspelled "Reset" the previous thread wasn't getting much response. Let me try again.
I need some advice from the experts. 2004 RX330.
I had a battery issue recently and needed to reset the window controls.
Went through the instructions like always, but it didn't reset. So, I started over and the window wouldn't go all the way down. Turned the car off and back on and it went down but wouldn't come up. Turned the car off, then back on and it went up a bit. Repeated that until it was all the way up.
Thinking the battery is a problem, started the car and went around the block a couple of times. Came back to the garage and the same thing happened. It would stop after a second or two, do the car off/on and it would move a bit again. Finally got it all the way up again.
Makes me think it's not the battery. It went through all of the reset paces the first time; it just didn't reset. Maybe the control module is confused?
I’m wondering if disconnecting the battery, reconnecting it will reset the control module?
A bad module?
Any advice is appreciated.
