Default Mass airflow sensor

I got a p0171 and p0174 code meaning that the mass air flow sensor is bad. I cleaned the old one and it didn't work. Then I replaced it with a brand new sensor and it still didn't work. Codes came back after reset.

So I think it's the air flow cover. I don't think it's on correctly and it's throwing the sensor off. Also I am missing one of the screws that hold the cover in place. However there doesn't seem to be any play.

Can someone take a picture of their cover, specifically the hinges on the left?

P0171 and/or 174 does not mean a bad MAF - it means a lean condition. IME the MAF is the least common cause of this if it’s clean.

An air leak must occur downstream of the MAF to trigger this code. The airbox won’t have anything to do with it, as it is upstream. The most useful diagnostic step is to look at fuel trims, record them at idle and running, and have someone help you interpret them. It can be an air leak, a fuel problem (injector, etc), or bad 02 sensors (common). Since it’s both banks, both upstream sensors did not likely fail at the same time.
