Default What Brand Brake Pads?

What brand brake pads would you gentlemen recommend for 2008-09 RX350's. Something which is good quality and produces minimal brake dust.

Akebono Pro-ACT or Raybestos EHT. Can't go wrong with those two. Low noise and dust, great cold bite and long-lasting pads that are easy on rotors. I run them on all the family cars and they perform solidly on all of them. The Pro-ACTs have a slightly better cold bite, but the EHTs are half the price, have a higher COF rating and are more performance-oriented. They have impressive bite for a ceramic pad when you really need to hit the brakes.

OFF: on Hybrids any "normal" pads are long-lasting pads

Best cost effective is going w/ a gen 3 set-up. Pads, rotors & a pr of reman calipers= Direct bolt on, more pad surface area, 2 piston calipers. One look at a oem size #1005 pad vs a gen3 pad size #1324 will tell you. 12,6'' vs 12.9'' diameter rotorsas well. My brother & I find this vehicle is really under braked for the weight= 4200lbs. I ended up w/ Hawk Talon kit for a gen3, Hawk ceramic performance pads, Talon rotors, Goodridge SS brake hoses from Tirerack as well as flushing the old brake fluid w/ new dot 3. I find the pedal is firmer w/ less travel. Being ceramic- low dust. Hitup the local auto parts store for a pr of reman calipers & throw your old ones in the box for your core money back vs back & forth shipping. The pads & rotors are pretty much awash price wise, just add the price of reman calipers & your Golden......
