Default 04 Rx300 - window quirk?

If i open the passenger side window a few inches, from either that door or the master switch on the driver's side, the next movement the window makes no matter which way you move the switch is down. I will move the switch upward and the window goes down by the same amount of distance in relation to how long i hold the switch. Its so weird. Once the window goes down all the way the switch will then move it up if i move the switch to the up position. Its the only window on the vehicle doing this.

I did a search but i don't think its that pinch thing, but i could be wrong.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I just noticed i had the year wrong. Its an '02 Coach Edition. My GS is an 04

I would disconnect the battery to reset the computer and see what happens. I think this car has a body computer that can do some weird stuff.

Sounds like you need to "reinitialize" your passenger window. To do this, from the passenger door control, roll the window about halfway down, then all the way up and hold it for a second or two, then roll it down again. That should re-set the window that has "forgotten" its programming. It should now work properly from that switch and the one on the driver's door too. If this fails to work, disconnect your battery's negative terminal for about 10 seconds and reconnect. Now, initialize all of your windows, each from its own door control. Reinitialize the moonroof using the same technique.

I have the exact problem on my '01. Same window and identical issue. Tried the "reset" procedure and the gremlin still lives.

True, I tried the 'reinitialize' process as well per the above posting. The problem persists. What is plan B? Is there a way to test some of these things?

Thanks for your on-going help.
