I was cleaning up the 2000 RX300 today and
as I was washing it, (we call him Elvis), so, as I was washing Elvis, I noticed that the windshield molding on the left side and the forward section of the roof rail, (in front of the cross bar), was missing!!! I haven't driven the car since February 4th and I don't remember hearing anything fall off the car. My son used the car back at the end of February and he doesn't remember anything falling off of the car either so, it is a mystery as to what happened to these pieces of trim, surely someone didn't steal them!!!!
so, anyway, I need to replace these pieces, does anyone have instructions on how to do so??? Thanks for any help guys.
I just took a closer look at how the trim attaches and I found two scratches on the A pillar one on top, one on the bottom which tells me that someone removed the trim. I swear, why would someone steal trim off of a car???

Well the car hasn't been through an automated car wash since I have had it so... all I know is that I will replace the trim pieces when I can find them, which is like a treasure hunt!!! I have signed up to be notified when the Pull-a-Part in my area gets one of this model of RX in their yard.
