Hey Guys ......After a tear down/re-install to replace the knock sensors I noticed a leaking (spraying) fuel injector. Figured it had cracked or something and ordered (3) new ones from an Amazon supplier. I'm now having one hell of a time getting the injector that's closest to the fuel input line on the rail to stop leaking like a sieve. I've swapped several of the new and the old injectors in that spot and no matter which one I install at that location ..... it leaks quite badly.
Anyone with experience of these ...... are you lubing them prior to installation? I've simply been dipping the ends in fuel before snugging them onto the rail....... which by the way is where they are leaking .
Just a follow up ........ I pulled the troubled injector and applied a bit of grease around the upper o-ring. Went together super easy and the leak is now gone.
Not sure where I saw someone recommending dipping the o-rings in fuel before installing .......just don't do that !!! LOL ....

Thanks .....
how about the end with the teflon seals, did you lube those or just pop it in? I heard that the teflon part of the injector is not suppose to be lubed for install.
