Default Breakwater Blue With Black

I was told that there are no Breakwater Blue exterior with Black Leather. Is that true? Furthermore, Breakwater Blue doesnt come in Performance Packages and NAV. Can someone verify this?

If you have a Breakwater Blue with Black, can you let me know? Post or email! Please! thanks!

Hi techlover,

do you have pictures for ur breakwater blue? Also, did you have to special order this? Or was it readily available? Also is it an AWD...what specs does it have?

Default more info

my car was a special order but i dont think the color combo caused this. i also ordered the laser cruise control and mark levinson sound system. these two options were rare so i decided to go the special order route. i will try to get a pic of the interior up. the pics are on my wifes side of the computer and i am not sure how to get them on my user side. be patient with me. andy

When you special ordered the car, did they still let you bargain to get some $$$ of the MSRP? Heard if it was a special order, no such thing will exist.

is that true?

Every color interior can come with every color exterior. It all depends on the dealers in the area. I've seen breakwater blues with gray and black. You would probably have to special order breakwater blue with ivory although that would be pretty ugly. I have a breakwater blue with gray interior and AWD but the dealer also had black. I just liked the gray better. Just go to you local dealer and have them look around the country to find the colors/options of what you want. They can either have it shipped to them from another dealer or you can just contact that dealer directly. I've posted several pictures of mine. I also have NAV and ML.

The dealer around here, Longo Lexus in LA, said they won't be able to find the exterior color/interior color with the specs I want unless I special order it. Which might be true, but they said if it goes Special order, I won't be getting $$$ off MSRP. Is that true? But honestly, I really question how hard they would need to look for the breakwater blue/black AWD/perf pkg/NAV throughout the US. Shouldn't it be all linked considering they are legit Lexus Dealerships? If anyone knows a color combination I am looking for, please let me know the dealership! I'll call them and ask!

thanks

Cool That's crazy!

I would strongly suggest that you contact another dealer. My dealer looked through out the country and what was actually on the boats headed for shore. They found the one i wanted on a boat that was gonna dock in a week. As far as not coming off the MSRP if you special order is just plain crazy. I would expect them to come off more because all they have to do is place the order. Their role is reduced to that of a check out girl at the grocery store.

One risk that they do run is that the sale will fall through. The more unique the special-ordered car is, the more difficult it becomes to sell. This happens more often than one would think, as buyers get impatient and go elsewhere, or their financial situation changes.

Stormance, my wife has the same vehicle as you're looking for, except we have the Light Gray interior. We did have to special order it, and it took about 80 days to arrive at the dealer. We were able to negotiate a reasonable discount, although not as good as some others that I've seen mentioned here...

Default I have Breakwater Blue with Black Interior

I have Breakwater Blue with Black interior. I am in NJ and this is the only color combo that comes in this region with Breakwater Blue. I have heard that it is regional and depends on the color combos that the dealers within the region order. I saw a post earlier that in the Minnesota area Breakwater Blue only comes with Grey interior.

Mine was not a special order. It was the stock Breakwater Blue. I did not get performance pack but did get NAV.

Good luck.
