Default Power window issues

I have a 2000 RX300, the left front power window motor went out. I replaced it with a remand motor. The window goes up and down , but now when you raise it it goes all the way up and then back down half way. The master switch has been replaced and it still does it. Could it possibly be the remand motor?

Welcome to CL.

Might be the regulator. That is also a device than can, and often does, fail over time. The regulator controls the up/down motion of the window.

The window goes up and down as it should. But when you use the auto up it goes back down half way after going up instead of staying up

There’s a pinch sensor to stop it crushing hands/fingers, etc., maybe that’s bad or wasn’t hooked up or there’s some adjustment.

The window reset procedure probably won't fix it but it's worth a try.

Roll down window all the way and continue holding down for 5 seconds. Then close the window and continue to hold for 5 seconds.

I have the same issue after replacing both left and right rear window motors. Windows go up and then back down. I have tried everything to fix. I believe the Limit Switch needs reseting but I don't know how to do it. Here is a link.
