Timing Belt Noise?
Need a little help. My sister's 2000 RX300 with 3.0L V6 VVTI has 180k on it. I live an hour away and am heading up there tomorrow morning to check it out. I uploaded a video she sent me of the noise. Started making this noise the other day. Seems to be coming from the timing belt area. She's not driving it until I can check it out. Not sure what I'm getting into here but the CEL is on, but I don't know any codes yet. Just hoping someone will recognize the noise and try to point me in the right direction. Thanks

Our long time friend used to say for sound .. "use your ear *****".
One needs stereo audio and then then for the third dimension one has to twist the neck to zero in.
Pick up a set of mechanics stethoscope to confirm the source.
At the posted milage, the vehicle is about ready for the second timing belt change. Depending on what was not replaced at the first change, I would seriously consider water-pump, both idlers and tensioner., [practically whole drive train along with the belt and the front main seal at minimum. Seriously think about the cam seals as well].
