Default Would Focal IC 165 TOY fit as replacement speaker?

I am looking for an upgrade for the stock speakers.
Has anyone tried or knows if the Focal IC 165 TOY or IS 165 TOY would fit in our cars?
https://www.focal.com/en/car-audio/c...otar/ic-165toy
They look similar enough but I would want to be sure.

Many thanks in advance
Cheers,
Johan

Looks like it should fit but the Crutchfield site says no.

Thanks. I found Crutchfield as well.

Here are the only measurements I have found until now: bit difficult to read but maybe someone can compare with the stock speaker.

Cheers again,
Johan

It's the plastic adapter (that's built into the speaker) that may be the problem - the door profile on the RX would have to match the door profile on whatever car is listed as compatible.

Thanks for your answer.
It's all Toyota; I would be very much surprised if it would be radically different as these cars have so many interchangeable parts.
Having said that I've decided to take a slightly different route using standard (Focal) speakers thus either needing 'Toyota' speakers adaptors or having to remove the Pioneer speakers from the existing adaptors.

Cheers,
Johan

Unfortunately, I don't think either approach will work. The plastic "adapter" is part of the speaker frame and cannot be disassembled. You'll likely have to get custom made adapters.

Certainly appears like they would:

"Lexus RX front and rear locations 1999-2003"

Also surprized that all of those Toyota/Lexus vehicles have the same inner door profile!

those adapters above are just off alittle you would have to drill new holes. I would go with
https://www.installer.com/item/displ...php?it=82-8151 as i did
