Scored a set of 19x7.5 35 offset Highlander wheels.
Fitted with 255-50-19 Kumho Crugen’s.
I was trying to get as close to a diameter as stock for the tires without loosing too much sidewall.
28.5” on stock 16” w/ 225-70-16
29” on the current set up.
2% diff. i could live with.
Rears cleared no problem with about 3-4mm from the strut to sidewall
Fronts cleared except for a little rubbing on the caliper bracket.
I couldve bought some 3mm spacers but opted to just shave some material till it cleared.
340k miles and still going.

No, of course not.
Thats why i shaved off some for it not to rub.

 

On rims? Just curious.

 

 

Where you shaved it a little bit. You shave rim inside, right?

 

I shaved material on the caliper bracket, not the rim.

 

I like that setup.
