Do these cars have lights that shine in the foot-wells? My other cars have lights that shine there. I looked but did not see anything like that.

 

Has nobody noticed if they have ;lights in the foot well of their cars when they open the door at night? I have dome lights but not seeing any in the foot wells.

 

You got me curious, Phil. I went out in the garage and checked. I just have the center overhead light, nothing in the footwells.

 

I checked same this morning, could not find any lights from doors or footwells. My car is 2001 AWD (Europe model).

 

I added the footwell light in my other two cars. 12V is from glove box light so it will not light up when door is open; it lights up when headlight is on. To fish wire through from dome light is too much work for me.

 

It seems odd that a car of this quality didn't have these but when I get the other things like door locks straightened out maybe I'll add some.
