When I open the driver's door, the lights above the back seats turn on, but not the lights by the moonroof controls. Any idea why...? I can't find an on/off/door switch like in most cars.

That seems normal, there is a switch on that light above the back seat. The front lights are only controlled by the pressing on the light itself to turn it on and off. Just push on the passenger light and the lights will turn on.

 

The light by the front windshield can be considered the map light. The light between the front and rear seats can be considered the dome light. That's my opinion anyway.
