I have a question pertaining to the overhead lights in the ES. When I approach the car the light underneath the mirrow will illuminate as well as the ones in the rear doors. The front door lights will illuminate when the front door is opened.....but at no time does the overhead lights come on. Does the overhead lights have to be programmed to come on or is there a problem somewhere?? Is this an item that can be changed in your personal settings? Is this something I can do or it have to be done by the dealer? If anyone can shead a little light on this I would really appreciate it.

There is a button up near the lights. I think it is marked "door". It should be out if you want the lights to come on with the door. Counter intuitive that it should be out, but that is how it works.

We pulled out the owners manual and found how to do it.....Duh...I feel like a dummy

 

Maybe it is voice activated, in your car!
