tried to fix antenna, now no radio or drivetrain?
What have I f'd up?? I was trying to disconnect power to radio antenna, but couldn't reach the plug on the backside so I snipped a couple of the wires. That fixed the antenna issue, but blew out the radio and the entire display? After replacing the 25 fuse under the hood and putting wires back together, it still didn't bring back any display, GPS or radio! Now I find that I cant even shift into reverse or drive with motor running? What the hell have I screwed up? Thanks for any suggestions.

I figured its probably more than one fuse, but I cant put my eyes on any other fuse panel other than the one in the engine comp. I read where there is another under the steering wheel but I don't see it?? All 20 or so of the small fuses in eng comp I checked.

The interior fuse box is behind the coin cup to the left of the steering wheel

It seems you have blown the brake light fuse. Shift gear has an interlock and you can only move out of the park with brake applied. In ae emergency you can pop the little square thing next to the shift lever and push the interlock manually. Details are in the owners manual. Be careful as in this case you will not have the rear brake light working and it is a hazard.

ps: A bit late, but other than disconnecting the battery, never cut any wire. Use the plugs to disconnect.
Also be careful working inside the vehicle as these days they all equipped with air bags.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I did get it fixed. I finally snipped the correct wire going to the antenna motor. I did have to replace two fuses under the dash as well. I know this wasn't the correct way of doing things but I couldn't get my fat hands behind the motor to pull the connector off. The blue wire apparently was the hot wire out of the five that went into the motor. Now there is no more grinding noises of trying to raise and lower the antenna. I just do it manually. Now onto bigger issues like oil pressure. Plenty of oil but light keeps coming on, especially at higher rpms. That will be my next thread!!

Just be careful as you enter car wash. Many antennas have been lost that way.
For low oil pressure at high(er) speeds ... the problem can be in the pickup. You may have to drop the oil pan and see if you have sludge built around the pickup screen.

Thanks Salim. My paint job is not worth taking to a car wash, but if I did I would definitely collapse the antenna.
Because of the oil light, the car is off the road currently. I plan to check the sending unit first, if I can locate it, check the pressure, and then if necessary drop the pan and/or pull a valve cover
