key programming does not work
after trying six times I gave up.
I followed the direction exactly as described my some of the members from CL but it does not work.
I have a pre-programmed remote master key and was trying to add a remote second master key.
What are some of the common causes for this not to work?

Mell, sorry to hear you had a problem.
It also took me several times to get it to work. However, the most critical thing was the timing and following the directions exactly to the letter. Try it again sometime this weekend.

Took me so many tries with no success, I ended up memorizing the sequence. Then, the first time I did it without looking at the instructions, it worked! Must be the timing - although I'm sure in every case I kept within the time limits between each step.
