Default Replacement door lock actuators

My gf recently bought a 00 rx300 while i was deployed and unfortunately none of the door locks work when the remote is used or when the lock buttons are pushed inside the car. You can hear the doors "click" as if they are locking or unlocking but nothing happens. After looking quickly on here i noticed that it is a common problem for the door lock actuators to go bad which is what i highly believe is wrong. I also noticed there are two main ways to fix this which are to open up the actuator and replace the motor or to use the piggyback method. I don't mind doing either one of those methods however to save time i was wondering if anyone has used the replacement actuators that are sold on ebay and amazon. Don't want to buy them and then find out that they are junk...here is a link to them

I have used the replacement actuators on two doors on my 99RX, and both are working correctly. I got mine on eBay, at a lower price than Amazon. If you keep yours, use the replacement actuators rather than rebuilding, IMO.
