Default VSC, Check eng., P1125 Code

New to the Lexus product and new to this forum. Bought from a private seller a 2001 RX300 with 144,000 miles on it. Car located in Southern Baja where there is very limited repair capability. Prior to my purchase, I noted the check engine and VSC lights were illuminated after engine start. Took car to local mechanic who plugged in and read a P1125 code. Previous owner and mechanic said that all indications were common for a "throttle control circuit malfunction" and that it did not effect the actual running of the car. Would like to correct whatever is causing these indications. Request those who have had this problem please advise me as to the parts necessary to repair so that I may have them brought down. TIA.

Default Electric motor/code question

Is the electric motor that is referenced in the P1125 code (throttle control motor circuit malfunction) the same motor which controls the AICV? I have a P1125 code only with a CEL and VSC lights on. If the motor is the same and I replace it, will the P1125 code go away? As a side note I don't notice a rough idle or hard to start symptoms. TIA

2001 Rx300, 145,000 miles. Also, please reference my post of 24 Mar 17 on VSC, CEL, P 1125 Code which I have posted as my problem. Thanks

The error code only points to an area, so tt is hard to diagnose down the problem by the code only.

Three things are in the play
1. Gas pedal position
2. TPS [throttle position sensor]
3. The motor that controls the throttle.

If the motor is bad then yes, by replacing it you will become whole. If the TPS is bad then the problem will remain. If there is a problem with wire/harness then changing the sensor and motor will do nothing.

I dont have the numbers to share with you but service manual contains estimated ohm values that the you can test some components.
